Who we're looking for

Our South East Substance Use Recovery (SURe) AOD team is looking for a Specialist AOD Family Violence Advisor to join them in their Narre Warren and Cranbourne offices!

If you are degree qualified in social work or a related community services discipline, have experience working within the family violence service system, and sound knowledge of the AOD sector, then we would love to hear from you!

You will be able to lead and influence colleagues towards best practice outcomes, problem solve and make sound decisions in light of complex situations.

What you'll be doing

You will provide expertise and support for workers in the AOD sector within the South East catchment, to identify and respond to family violence with their clients, whether they are experiencing family violence or perpetrating family violence.

As the Advisor will be to lead the team to deliver high-quality standards and integrated care, sharing your significant experience working in the family violence service system with good knowledge of the AOD sector.

Who you'll be working with

Reporting to the Therapeutic Services Manager, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team of service delivery professionals committed to helping those from all walks of life. While working in collaboration with partnering health services to enhance the capacity of practitioners to recognise and respond to family violence victims/survivors and perpetrators.
