Job Description

EACH are looking for a dynamic and impactful Manager to become an integral member of the Leadership team who works with their Directorate, the EACH Executive Team and other key stakeholders to deliver the Vision and Strategic objectives of EACH. We need a Tasmanian based leader to collaborate with our diverse team at EACH as the Manager Tasmania Business Development and Transition! The role will require flexibility to travel, with proposed locations to be in Hobart, Launceston and outreach across Devonport and Burnie.

You will play a significant and integral role in the Leadership team, working closely with the Directors, Executive Team, and other key stakeholders to deliver the vision and objectives of our organisation, and work directly with the Director States & Business Transition and the Director Business Development & Partnerships to provide advice and undertake initiatives and negotiations necessary to position EACH strategically.

As the Manager Tasmania Business Development & Transition, you will be responsible for transitioning all new work/business secured in Tasmania from the funder notification phase to hand-over to Operations, and provide support to the Director States & Business Transition in an aligned effort to ensure transparency and consistency of practice across EACH.

Your ongoing focus on identifying emerging service gaps, generating new business opportunities, and examining potential partnerships that can be monetised. In addition, the role will be part of an internal collaboration to successfully transition all newly acquired business across to our Operations directorate.

Qualifications

We are looking for a leader with thorough understanding of Community Health organisations and partnerships in Tasmania. If you are confident in demonstrating strong leadership skills, modelling the values and behaviours of a safe and inclusive workplace environment, and possess excellent interpersonal skills, we welcome your application.

To succeed in this position, you will also demonstrate:

  • Extensive experience in leadership positions related to business development and transition management
  • Experience in establishing and managing complex partnerships and collaborations at a strategic level
  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to manage budgets and resources efficiently
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver solutions in high-pressure environments
  • Knowledge of the community and healthcare industry, funding models, and regulations in Tasmania, along with experience in working with not-for-profit organisations
