Deaf Victoria is seeking a motivated and experienced General Manager to lead the implementation of the new Strategic Plan (2018-2023). You will work within a social model of disability, aspiring for the equity of Deaf people, and ensure that Deaf people are represented in all strategic decisions to ensure that Deaf Victoria is led by the aspirations, concerns and values of Deaf and hard of hearing people.

You will respond to the challenges of the NDIS and the changing nature of advocacy, and shape the organisation through innovation, pilot funding projects, new partnerships and grow Deaf Victoria to achieve its vision of a world in which Deaf and hard of hearing people experience equality, opportunity and connection.

This opportunity will suit a highly motivated self-starter with experience in the not-for-profit and disability sectors. The successful applicant will have knowledge and skills in financial accountability and staff management. Additionally, innovation and the ability to respond to a changing and dynamic environment will be highly regarded.
