The role of the Strong Culture Stronger Families Aboriginal Project Worker is to deliver the Strong Culture, Stronger Families program. The program aims to prevent violence against women by identifying the contributing factors that lead to family breakdown and assist families to identify and address these issues before they result in emotional distress or violence. This is to be delivered in a culturally appropriate context. The program will be implemented by facilitating regular yarning groups and activities that will create safe spaces to talk about family, relationships, responsibility, identity and belonging.
