Cosmos Alliance is a small, Perth-based, Christian health and development organisation whose vision is to see communities transformed through sustainable health initiatives. Cosmos Alliance currently supports a variety of projects across Zimbabwe, Uganda and Papua New Guinea, working to improve health outcomes in communities where access to basic medical care is limited. Its mission is to provide quality, holistic training and health programs in underserved rural and peri-urban areas worldwide, and does this through working in partnership with local organisations and governments who best understand the needs of their communities and are experts in their own contexts.

The Office Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of Cosmos Alliance. This position exists to provide the administrative, operational, and communications support that enables our staff, volunteers, and international teams to focus on delivering meaningful impact through our mission and programs.
Working across multiple areas of the organisation, the Office Coordinator manages key systems and records, coordinates logistics for international training teams, supports volunteer engagement, contributes to digital communications, and assists with the planning and delivery of fundraising events. The role works closely with the CEO, volunteers, and team leaders to ensure activities are well organised, compliant, and delivered efficiently.
By keeping essential operations running smoothly behind the scenes, the Office Coordinator helps strengthen organisational capacity, support volunteers to thrive in their roles, and contribute to the sustainable growth of Cosmos Alliance. Their work enables the organisation to expand its reach, build strong community connections, and maximise its positive impact both locally and internationally.
You are an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys bringing order to complexity and ensuring things run smoothly behind the scenes. You take pride in your attention to detail, can manage multiple priorities at once, and are comfortable working independently while remaining connected to a wider team.
You are a strong communicator who has the ability to build positive relationships with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Whether coordinating volunteers, supporting international teams, preparing communications, or managing organisational systems, you approach your work with professionalism, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit.
You are confident using digital tools and systems, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and social media platforms, and enjoy finding practical solutions to everyday challenges. You are comfortable taking initiative, following through on tasks, and producing high-quality work with minimal supervision.
Most importantly, you are motivated by purpose. You are aligned with the mission and values of Cosmos Alliance, are committed to gender equality and inclusive practices, and are excited by the opportunity to contribute to an organisation creating positive change both locally and globally.
Experience in a faith-based or Christian not-for-profit environment, CRM management, digital communications tools, international travel coordination, or basic video editing would be highly regarded.
We believe that people do their best work when they are supported to thrive. That's why we offer flexible working hours, opportunities for professional development, (and salary packaging benefits,) helping you grow professionally while maintaining balance and wellbeing.
