About the Role

We’re looking for a Curriculum Project Lead (2 yr fixed-term contract) with strong project planning skills, experience in community consultation, and a background in educational design. This role suits someone passionate about meaningful community engagement and committed to driving cultural change to prevent sexual violence in Australia. Roles & Responsibilities

Diverse Communities Consultation

• Engage meaningfully with culturally and linguistically diverse communities, parents and carers, and young people across metropolitan, regional, rural, and remote communities.
• Facilitate inclusive co-design and consultation processes to ensure all content is culturally safe, relevant, and accessible.

Educational Design

• Develop high-quality, evidence-informed learning content for each sub-project.
• Ensure all curriculum aligns with best practice in violence prevention, Consent and Respectful Relationships Education, and adult learning principles.

Project Planning

• Lead curriculum planning, development, and delivery milestones across the full project and its sub-projects.
• Work collaboratively with the Head of Strategic Projects, internal teams, and external partners to ensure alignment with grant requirements and project objectives.

About You

Ideal candidate will bring:

Essential:

• Experience delivering projects from planning through to implementation
• A background in curriculum development, education, or learning design
• Experience undertaking community consultation and stakeholder engagement
• Strong project planning and organisational skills
• An understanding of facilitation and educational delivery
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• A commitment to trauma-informed, inclusive, and values-aligned practice

Desirable:

• Experience working in the gender-based violence prevention sector
• Experience delivering grant-funded projects
• Knowledge of monitoring, evaluation, and reporting processes
• Lived experience, cultural knowledge, or strong connections with diverse communities
• Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and community stakeholders.
