Our Place is an initiative of the Colman Education Foundation, working in partnership with the Department of Education to establish the Our Place approach at 10 state school sites across Victoria. Our Place is built around the key elements that evidence and experience shows are effective.
We believe that making local schools the hub of a whole community is one of the best ways to enable long-lasting change in communities experiencing entrenched disadvantage. We aim to facilitate partnerships and system change at an integrated school site that have the skills and resources to make a real difference in the lives of children and their families.
Our Place community facilitators are the front-line for implementation of the Our Place model, working on-site with the local community, partners and stakeholders. The role is focused on building relationships and facilitating opportunities and delivery of services to support the families and children at the Our Place site.
If you are passionate about improving life outcomes for children and their families, will bring experience working with communities to achieve positive change, have relevant qualifications and are excited about joining a unique and innovative organisation then please apply now.
Applications will be reviewed as they are submitted.
