About The Role:

This is a full‑time ongoing role (1.0 FTE, 38 hours per week) based at The Orange Door in Bendigo. As Team Leader you will provide leadership supervision and operational oversight to an Orange Door team delivering high‑quality client‑centred services. You’ll support and develop practitioners, manage workflow and risk and ensure practice aligns with evidence‑based frameworks and regulatory standards.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Leading, mentoring and supervising a team of specialist practitioners in a fast‑paced environment.
• Overseeing day‑to‑day service delivery and prioritising demand based on risk and urgency.
• Supporting trauma‑informed integrated practice across a multidisciplinary setting.
• Contributing to program planning service development quality improvement and evaluation.
• Building and maintaining strong partnerships with community services government and sector stakeholders.

About You:

You are a confident values‑led leader with extensive experience in the community services sector, ideally within family violence or related fields. You bring strong professional judgement emotional intelligence and the ability to lead teams through complexity and change.

You will bring:

• Demonstrated experience leading supervising and developing practitioners.
• Strong understanding of family violence trauma‑informed practice and child wellbeing.
• The ability to navigate challenging situations with empathy, clarity and decisiveness.
• Highly developed communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Experience working collaboratively across multidisciplinary or system‑based environments.
• A commitment to feminist practice, cultural safety, inclusion and continuous improvement.
