How You Can Make a Difference

This is a rare opportunity to lead one of our most important long-term revenue programs. As Head of Gifts in Wills, you’ll bring together marketing, relationship management and estate administration to create meaningful, lifelong supporter journeys.

You’ll lead a passionate, high-performing team and shape how we engage with supporters who choose to leave a gift in their Will, ensuring every interaction is thoughtful, respectful and impactful. Your work will directly support the Heart Foundation’s goal to help more Australians live longer, healthier lives.

This is a permanent full-time role, with part-time considered for the right candidate.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the strategy and delivery of a national Gifts in Wills program to grow both awareness and our future pipeline.
• Inspire and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive, collaborative culture
• Drive donor-centred experiences across the full journey, from first enquiry through to estate administration
• Oversee Gifts in Wills marketing and engagement activity to grow awareness and build a strong future pipeline.
• Strengthen relationship management practices to nurture supporters and increase confirmed Gift in Will supporters.
• Oversee estate administration to ensure gifts are managed with care, accuracy and respect.
• Manage program performance, including planning, budgeting, forecasts, reporting and continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

• Demonstrated leadership experience in Gifts in Wills, philanthropy, or relationship-based fundraising
• Strong understanding of donor journeys, pipeline management and long-term revenue growth
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build high-performing teams
• Experience developing and delivering marketing or engagement strategies that drive results
• Knowledge of estate or legacy giving processes, or the ability to quickly build capability in this area
• Strong commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including advising senior leaders
• A strategic mindset with the ability to translate big-picture goals into practical plans
