CAAH is an Aboriginal controlled, community housing provider in Alice Springs managing over 350 homes.

CAAH is funded by the NT Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) to deliver the My Place Program. The My Place Program aims to prevent homelessness by improving access to housing in the private rental market through the Rent Subsidy Program and the Private Rental Brokerage Program. The program is targeted to a range of people who are at risk of homelessness, including people escaping domestic and family violence and/or with mental health issues.

About the role

We are looking for people with tenancy, housing and or community service experience to join our team in the role of Tenancy Support Officer.

The Tenancy Support Officer is an important role providing direct tenancy support and coordination for participants in the My Place Program and other community housing tenants. The role is diverse and with responsibilities ranging from tenancy support and coordination and advocacy, working with stakeholders, such as real estate agents and support services.

To be successful in this role you will have experience in supporting people with complex needs, have a great work ethic and enjoy working in a dynamic team environment.
