We're seeking an enthusiastic Senior Manager - Local Area Coordination (LAC) to join our dedicated NDIS Services Team. This role involves managing and delivering Partner in the Community Local Area Coordination services within the Brotherhood of St Laurence (BSL) Disability Services Division. 

  • Location: Broadmeadows, VIC 3047 - based at our BSL NDIS Hume office.
  • Salary: A competitive remuneration package ranging from $120,317.40 - $131,457.90 per annum + 11% superannuation and $13,000 vehicle allowance!
  • Type of Employment: Permanent, full-time (38-40 hours per week).

ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE

As a Senior Manager - Local Area Coordination (LAC), you will manage a BSL Disability Services site to deliver Partner in the Community Local Area Coordination Services in a defined geographical area.

You will drive a supportive, safe, positive, outcome-oriented team culture - focused on developing community engagement plans and meeting contractual and organisational expectations. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Continuous Quality Improvement
  • Compliance, Human Resources and Risk Management
  • Stakeholder Relationships

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking applicants who have: 

  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in allied health, disability services, education, human services, community development, social work, or extensive experience in a leadership role within an organisation with highly contested stakeholders. 
  • Experience in the disability sector or awareness of the impact of existing or acquired disability upon individuals, families/carers, and the community.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills, including multi-tasking, prioritising workload, and meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated skills in conflict resolution and change management.
  • A commitment to maintaining and supporting child safety, equity, inclusion, and cultural safety. You will be required to abide by the Child & Adult Safeguarding Policy, Code of Conduct, and related child-safe policies and procedures.
  • Understanding of and empathy with the values and ideals of the Brotherhood of St Laurence.
