about the opportunity

Working within the Clinical Governance Team, the purpose of the Senior Clinical Advisor (Community response and Services) is to ensure a response to the community contacting the Beyond Blue head office that is timely, empathetic and considered and to manage all feedback, incidents and requests for information received, using these to inform continuous improvement of Beyond Blue Supports and Services. The role will investigate and oversee high risk and priority complaints and incidents, additionally ensuring all complaints and enquiries are managed and responded to with the highest quality.

As a clinical liaison within Beyond Blue and our business partners, the role will also help to shape and manage clinical governance systems that ensure the service is innovative, evidence informed, person centred, safe and effective and complies with the Beyond Blue Care Governance Framework. This is achieved by providing evidence informed advice, attending appropriate safety and quality meetings, monitoring complaints, feedback, clinical incidents and clinical risks of the service. Additionally, the role will manage any continuous improvement activities for the service.

Tertiary qualified in Nursing, Mental health nursing, Psychology, Social work or Occupational therapy the appointee will be a registered AHPRA member with a minimum of five years working experience in the Mental health or community sector. Your strong experience in mental health care provision, person centred and trauma informed care will be underpinned by your ability to deal with complaints, incident and/or feedback management.
