We are looking for a Manager, Securitisation to join a high-performing Treasury team and play a critical role in supporting the Bank’s funding, liquidity and balance sheet strategy through the management of securitisation trusts, warehouse facilities and RMBS programs.

As Manager, Securitisation, you will be responsible for the governance, operation and lifecycle management of the Bank’s securitisation structures. Acting as the subject matter expert, you will oversee trust management activities, investor and trustee reporting, collateral monitoring, warehouse management, transaction lifecycle events and regulatory obligations, while ensuring a robust control environment and operational excellence.

This role can be based out of the Head Office in Melbourne (Collingwood) or Sydney (Mascot, soon to be relocated to the CBD).

What you will be doing

  • Support the execution of securitisation transactions, including investor engagement, transaction coordination and management of securitisation investor relationships across.
  • Lead the day-to-day management and governance of the Bank’s securitisation trusts, warehouse facilities and RMBS structures, ensuring compliance with transaction documents, regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Oversee investor, trustee, rating agency and regulatory reporting obligations, ensuring reporting is accurate, timely and supported by robust controls and documentation.
  • Manage trust cashflows, collateral pools, warehouse replenishments and transaction waterfalls, including monitoring of triggers, covenants, eligibility criteria and funding requirements.
  • Provide analysis and oversight of trust and collateral performance, including arrears, defaults, losses, portfolio trends, stress testing and early warning indicators.
  • Lead the management of transaction lifecycle events, including RMBS issuances, refinancings, redemptions, clean-up calls, warehouse extensions and post-transaction implementation activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external parties including trustees, investors, rating agencies, warehouse providers, auditors and legal advisers.
  • Drive continuous improvement across securitisation operations, governance, data quality, controls and reporting processes while providing leadership, technical expertise and support to the securitisation function.

What you will bring

  • Proven experience in securitisation, structured finance, treasury funding, trust management or a related banking environment.
  • Strong understanding of RMBS structures, warehouse facilities, collateral management and cashflow waterfall processes.
  • Experience managing investor, trustee, regulatory and rating agency reporting obligations.
  • Sound knowledge of securitisation regulatory requirements and risk and control frameworks, including APS 120 exposure.
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to drive outcomes across Treasury, Finance, Risk, Legal and external stakeholders.
