The Senior Clinician will provide therapeutic assessment, engagement, intervention, safety planning and care team coordination for boys and young men aged 12-25 whose use of violence in intimate or family relationships is emerging.
The role requires a clinician who can hold both therapeutic support and accountability-focused service provisions. The clinician will work in ways that are developmentally appropriate, culturally secure, relational, trauma-informed and violence-informed, while actively considering the safety and wellbeing of women, children, partners, family members and others connected to the young person.
The Senior Clinician will deliver individual therapeutic sessions, structured group-based programs where safe and appropriate, family-inclusive or relational work, secondary consultation, and coordinated care team responses. The role will also contribute to local system capability, Community of Practice activities, program evaluation and reporting requirements.
