Australian Red Cross is part of the largest humanitarian movement in the world seeking to build a better society based on people helping people.
In response to COVID-19, Red Cross is working alongside the Victorian Government to provide additional financial support for vulnerable Victorians who are on temporary visas and experiencing financial hardship as a result of the pandemic. The program will run for a period of 6 months with the aim to reduce financial, health and wellbeing distress for vulnerable temporary migrants living in Victoria during the pandemic.
Currently required to work from home (must have own hardware including internet access, laptop/computer, phone). When services return to an office environment may be required to work in North Melbourne or Dandenong Red Cross office locations.
The Complex Caseworker will provide casework support to migrants in transition who access the financial hardship program and require further support in response to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
