Lead a critical safeguarding service that supports the safety of people with disability.

SAFE NT, part of the NT Police Force, is seeking an experienced and capable leader to manage the NDIS Worker Screening function in the Northern Territory. This role is responsible for the effective and consistent delivery of NDIS worker screening in line with legislative and national requirements.

You will oversee end‑to‑end operations, including decision‑making on complex and sensitive matters, managing escalations, and ensuring high quality, defensible outcomes. The role also leads quality assurance and continuous improvement activities to strengthen consistency, efficiency and service delivery.

Working closely with internal teams, the NT Department of People, Sport and Culture, the Commonwealth NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, and interstate screening units, you will contribute to a nationally consistent approach to worker screening while supporting local operational delivery.
