Arrabri Community House, Central Ringwood Community Centre and North Ringwood Community House are community-based organisations providing a range of programs tailored to local needs, including pre-accredited training, leisure courses, and social groups. Governed by voluntary boards, they aim to create engaging and supportive environments.

Key Selection Criteria:

• Understanding of ACFE and pre-accredited adult education
• Proficiency in computer skills
• Experience in not-for-profit community-based organisations
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Understanding of community development principles
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid National Police Check and Working with Children Check
• Driver’s license and access to own vehicle
• Background in community development desirable

Key Responsibility Areas:

• Program Development and Coordination
• Community Engagement
• Coordinate ACFE pre-accredited A Frame delivery
• Represent ACH, CRCC, and NRCH at meetings
• Build relationships and pathways with industry
• Implement and evaluate educational programs
• Conduct annual moderation of Learn Local classes

Role Summary:

The Learn Local Coordinator is essential for fostering lifelong learning and community empowerment. This role blends educational expertise, community engagement, and effective management to ensure the success of the Learn Local program.
