Addison Road Community Organisation (ARCO) is a not-for-profit organisation providing programs in the areas of Social Justice, Arts/Culture, Environmental Sustainability and Community Development. ARCO is managed by an elected Board of Directors.
The Food Services Manager is responsible for overseeing ARCO’s Food Pantries at Marrickville and Camperdown. This includes the supervision of a team of four people, the Camperdown Food Pantry Manager, 2 drivers and a Warehouse Coordinator. The role also oversees and manages a large volunteer workforce.
The Food Services Manager has a key role in supporting the delivery of the outcomes for food justice grants and programs.
The Food Services Manager will liaise with donors and vendors and identify potential food donation and funding opportunities. This role reports to the Food Operations Program Manager and works closely with other ARCO team members, including the Volunteer Coordinator and Strategic Alliances Manager.
This is a grant-funded role for 12 months (with possibility for extension).
Hours: 25 hours per week (sometimes up to 30 hours) across 5 days (during the food pantry opening hours).
