Located in Fregon community on the stunning Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands in the remote northwest of South Australia, Kaljiti Arts is a First Nations-owned and governed art centre known for its diversity of aesthetic and depth of talent.
Kaljiti Arts is part of the APY Art Centre Collective, who create innovative artistic projects and strong business initiatives including three Collective owned galleries in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.
Kaljiti Arts Centre is the heart of Fregon community and is a place of inspiration, dynamism and a cultural focal point. Kaljiti has witnessed the creation of senior artists Witjiti George, Taylor Cooper, Manitjanu Lennon, Imitjala Curley, Matjangka Norris and Kathy Maringka and cultivates young and emerging artists painting Tjukurpa (cultural knowledge) of the region. The renowned work of these artists grace private, commercial and public galleries across Australia and internationally.

The role of the Kaljiti Arts Studio Manager offers a rare and exciting opportunity for someone with extensive fine art skills matched by a zealous drive to facilitate the making of incredible art.
Working with the board of directors, art workers and over 30 artists the successful applicant will also be committed to the principles of self-determination and best practice governance in delivering the strategic vision of Anangu elders at the helm of Kaljiti Arts.
