About the opportunity

This is a key operational role supporting the delivery of ANZCA’s training programs, with a strong focus on dual training, recognition processes, and assessment activities.

You will take ownership of complex training operations, ensuring alignment with governance, policy and system requirements, while providing expert support to trainees, supervisors and internal stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage the end-to-end operational delivery of dual training programs (DTRP)
  • Act as a primary contact for trainees, supervisors and stakeholders, providing clear operational advice
  • Coordinate training processes including registrations, recognition of prior learning (RPL) and eligibility assessments
  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure data integrity across systems
  • Support key assessment activities including workplace-based assessments (WBA) and PCIA
  • Analyse and report on training data to support compliance, audits and decision-making
  • Develop and maintain operational documentation, guidance materials and process improvements
  • Contribute to system enhancements and digital improvements
  • Support broader training program delivery, projects and continuous improvement initiatives

This is a permanent, full-time role reporting to the Training Manager.

About the team

The Training and Assessment unit sits within the Education function and leads the delivery of training, assessment and support across ANZCA programs. The team works closely with internal stakeholders, committees and external partners to deliver high-quality, compliant and efficient training operations.

About you

You are a highly organised and operationally capable coordinator who enjoys working in complex environments and supporting structured programs. You bring strong judgement, attention to detail and the ability to translate policy and systems into practical outcomes for stakeholders.

Key skills and experience

Essential:

  • Experience in training, education or program administration within a complex or regulated environment
  • Strong experience managing structured processes involving eligibility, assessment or approvals
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies, regulations and system rules
  • Proven capability to manage competing priorities and maintain accuracy in high-volume environments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Experience maintaining data quality, reporting and compliance requirements
  • Experience supporting process improvements and system-related activities
  • Strong customer focus with ability to manage complex or sensitive enquiries

Desirable:

  • Experience in specialist medical education, higher education or professional training environments
  • Familiarity with recognition of prior learning (RPL) or credentialing processes
  • Experience with training or assessment systems (e.g. portfolios, membership or education platforms)
  • Exposure to project work, change management or digital transformation initiatives
