The Navigator Program is an intensive, targeted, education support service where Case Managers work in collaboration with schools, young people, families, and external stakeholders to find ways to achieve educational goals.

Navigator provides assertive outreach and case management, supporting young people in government and non-government schools with extreme educational disengagement to re-engage. Many of these young people have complex barriers to educational engagement & have not responded to school-based engagement interventions. Working with young people, their families & support networks to address issues underlying disengagement & help them re-engage with their education & achieve their goals.
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, comprising of a Team Leader, Intake and Assessment Worker, Brief Intervention Worker, Senior Case Managers and a Groups Facilitator.
You will be working with young people, 12-17yrs from the Brimbank/Melton Area, who have disconnected from school. Young people may experience barriers such as mental health, family violence, disability and neurodiversity as well as trauma.
Your role is to work with young people, their families & support networks to address these issues underlying disengagement & help them re-engage with their education & achieve their goals.
