The overall responsibility of the Residential Youth Worker is to work with a larger team to promote a consistent and considered approach to the provision of direct care to young people who reside in residential care, ensuring individual needs are met. This is likely to involve everything from providing emotional support and crisis intervention, right through to maintaining a safe and welcoming home environment.
We opportunities for day shifts, evening shifts, active night duty shifts and weekend shifts available in 5 different locations across Bendigo, including Kangaroo Flat, Ironbark, Junortoun and Huntly, with additional expansion to other locations always a possibility. This offers access to a wide variety of shifts in a number of locations.
Given the established team set up and supportive structure, we can also offer opportunities to those either starting their career in the industry as well as those who already have experience.
