We do this by providing HR, Recruitment, On-boarding, training compliance and other support to programs throughout the state.

About the role:

We are seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to support the attraction, selection and on boarding of new staff, predominantly the Residential Services area of the organisation, comprising of over 26 houses, and 700 staff.

This position will be responsible for all elements of the recruitment process, from initial advertising and talent sourcing, through to on boarding and compliance management, using systems such as Page Up, Preceda, Time Target and others to ensure and support recruitment best practice. The role itself will have elements of candidate management, screening, interviewing, compliance engagement, recruitment administration, recruitment project support, system and database management, orientation, training and general administrative requirements as and when required.

About you:

To be effective in the role you will need:

  • Previous Recruitment, Recruitment Administration or similar experience, coupled with a strong understanding of the Community Services Industry (Ideally Child Youth and Family Services) and understanding of the high level of compliance and regulation associated.  
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communications skills enabling a high standard of talent attraction, screening ability and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent computer literacy skills including the use of Microsoft Office products as well as experience with Advertising sites and Candidate Applicant Tracking systems such as Page Up or similar.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment, responding flexibly to meet changing needs, priorities and deadlines. A team player who builds effective internal relationships.
  • An empathy with Anglicare Victoria’s mission and values.
