About the Role: 

The position forms part of the People and Culture Team which is responsible for providing comprehensive Human Resources Services to the organisation consisting of approximately 1,800 employees and 2,300 volunteers. Anglicare Victoria  run a number of programs including Integrated Family Services, Family Violence, Kinship Care, Foster Care and Out of Home Care as well as a range of other programs within the Anglicare Victoria scope of practice, all to support families, children, young people and individuals in Victoria.

The aim of the role will be to administration support through out the employee life cycle, which could involve everything from administering processes, in relation to the creation employment contracts, processing variations to employment, responding to day to day general inquires aligned to policy and processes ensuring that our compliance obligations are meet and our employees have a positive experience  through-out their employment with us.   You also get heaps of opportunity to contribute to improving what and how we do things!

About you:

We are seeking an experienced HR administration professional with a strong understanding of the systems and processes relating to employment legislation throughout the end to end employee lifecycle.

You’ll bring a keen eye for detail, an ability to identify and manage HR risk, the ability to ensure the ongoing compliance of the employment offer process.

  • Experience in a similar HR or People and Culture administrative capacity or completion of degree with some work experience.
  • Ability to ensure the accuracy of employment and HR documentation in line with legislation and AV policy, particularly terms of employment legislation and adherence to AV Policy.   
  • A keen eye for detail, ability to use ones initiative, identify discrepancies and inaccuracies and work together to find solutions.
  • Flexibility and ability to manage a busy workload, meet deadlines and stakeholder expectations.
  • Experience in the use of HR and Recruitment Systems I.e. Dayforce, Page Up and Preceda.
  • Commitment to improving practices, putting forward ideas about how we can work smarter.
  • Ability to work under general direction and maintain focus.
  • Excellent people skills and ability to communicate effectively with a customer service mindset, to provide advice and consultation when required.
