Better Futures supports young people aged 15–21 as they prepare to transition from care into adulthood.
The program works alongside young people to strengthen their independence, helping them build connections to housing, education, training, employment, community and wellbeing supports.
As a Development Coach, you will work alongside young people to help them identify their goals, strengths and ambitions. This is not a traditional case management role, it is focused on empowering young people to develop life skills, confidence and independence while providing practical support and advocacy when needed.
You will support young people both in the community and through outreach, including attending appointments, assisting with housing and Centrelink processes, and helping young people strengthen their connection to family, culture and community.
You’ll join a genuinely supportive, cohesive and creative team that values collaboration, flexibility and having fun together. This is a role where you can think outside the box and focus on what matters most to the young person, their goals, ambitions and future.
Unlike more compliance-driven programs, this role offers the opportunity to work creatively with young people and build authentic relationships while still delivering meaningful outcomes.
Could you please apply for the role before midnight on the closing date.
