Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a compassionate Team Leader to guide, support and supervise volunteers and students to deliver effective Emergency Services Programs.

AnglicareSA’ s Emergency Assistance program provides relief through the provision of food, clothing, medication, blankets, linen as well as advocacy for individuals and families in need.

What can you expect to be doing?

  • Oversee the assessment of customers accessing Emergency Assistance ensuring that quality standards are met
  • Provide formal and informal debriefing and support for volunteers and students
  • Lead a team of volunteers and students to deliver services to customers
  • Support and mentor volunteer performance and development to enable high quality care and services

What do you need to bring?

  •  Tertiary qualification in a Community Services field (essential) OR Diploma Financial Counselling.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (essential).
  •  Proven experience working with individuals, families / communities experiencing vulnerability.
  • Knowledge of emergency relief and community development program models and strategies.
