Join AHCWA's growing Workforce Development and training team and play a key role in building a high-performing, culturally grounded Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that strengthens workforce capability and training pathways across the WA Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHS) sector.

This newly created position has been established through National Skills Agreement (NSA) funding and offers an exciting opportunity to help shape the systems, processes and compliance framework of AHCWA's RTO. Working closely with the RTO Manager and Executive Manager Workforce Development and Training, you will help ensure the RTO maintains compliance, remains audit-ready and delivers high-quality training outcomes.

About the Position

In this role you will:

• Support the RTO Manager to maintain compliance with the Standards for RTOs 2025 and related regulatory requirements.
• Develop, review and maintain Training and Assessment Strategies (TAS), assessment tools, learning resources and compliance documentation.
• Support validation, moderation, version control, training product currency and continuous improvement activities.
• Assist with internal audits, evidence collection, file reviews and compliance rectification activities.
• Maintain accurate student records, training data, registers and reporting systems.
• Prepare compliance reports, evidence matrices and documentation for the Training Accreditation Council (TAC), funding bodies and internal stakeholders.
• Support training operations, including scheduling, logistics, administration and learner support.
• Build effective relationships with Member Services, training providers, TAC, Aboriginal Community Controlled and First Nations Owned RTOs, and other key sector stakeholders.

About You

You are highly organised, detail-oriented and solutions-focused, with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high compliance standards. You enjoy building positive working relationships and are committed to quality outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience in RTO compliance, administration or VET sector operations.
• A strong understanding of the Standards for RTOs 2025.
• Experience supporting audits, validation, moderation or assessment processes.
• The ability to maintain accurate compliance systems, records and documentation to a high standard.
• Excellent organisational, time management and attention-to-detail skills.
• Strong written communication skills and experience developing compliance-related documentation.
• The ability to work independently and meet competing deadlines.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and student management systems.
• The ability to build positive relationships across government, education, RTO and Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations.
• The ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Highly regarded:

• Identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and is accepted as such by their community.
• Experience using Moodle (Lingel Learning) and/or the Wisenet Student Management System.
