Victim Support ACT (VSACT) is seeking a highly capable leader to join our team as Director, Domestic and Family Violence Responses.

As Director you will oversee the Family Violence Safety Action Program, leading coordinated, multiagency responses to individuals and families experiencing high-risk domestic and family violence. You will lead and support a multidisciplinary team, drive cross-sector collaboration, and play a central role in strengthening systemic responses that prioritise victim survivor safety and perpetrator accountability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team
• Foster an inclusive, respectful and supportive work environment
• Drive collaborative multiagency responses to high-risk family violence
• Build strong relationships with critical stakeholders across government and the community sector
• Support complex client responses and engage with victim-survivors
• Contribute to data collection, reporting, practice improvement, and systemic reform
• Contribute to the broader work and senior leadership of Victim Support ACT

Eligibility / Other requirements

• Substantial experience working in domestic and family violence, or related field
• Proven capacity to lead teams in complex service environments
• Excellent stakeholder relationships and confidence leading interagency discussions

Prior to commencing this role, a National Police Check and a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 are required.
