About the Position

We’re excited to welcome a passionate part-time Local Level Alliance Coordinator to our Act for Kids team, working within our Family and Child Connect (FaCC) service. In this role, you’ll bring people together to create stronger, more connected support systems for children, young people and families. You’ll play a vital part in shaping collaborative responses that help prevent families from entering the child protection system and ensure the right support is available at the right time.

  • Level 5 SCHCADS Award.
  • Salary range: $100,784 - $105,350 (pro-rata) + Superannuation.
  • Part-time [0.5FTE], Government funded contract opportunity until 30 June 2027 with possible extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bring services together by coordinating and strengthening Local Level Alliances to improve outcomes for vulnerable children and families.
  • Build powerful partnerships with community, government and sector stakeholders to enhance collaboration and service integration.
  • Drive better outcomes by identifying gaps, barriers and systemic issues, and working with others to create meaningful solutions.
  • Support complex cases by working alongside agencies to develop coordinated responses for families with multiple needs.

About You

  • A tertiary degree in a community development or human services related field.
  • Professional registration (if required).
  • At least three (3) years’ experience working within a community development sector with highly developed knowledge of child protection issues and the child protection sector in Queensland.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia (proof of eligibility required), including holding or obtaining required checks (Working with Children Check or professional exemption).
  • Current driver’s licence.
