About the Position

We are excited to welcome a Family Support Practitioner to Maryborough Intensive Family Support team. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work comprehensively with families as a whole and with individual family members to overcome the challenges they are experiencing and achieve meaningful change. In this role, you will utilise evidence informed therapeutic interventions and be contributing directly to the improved wellbeing of children and families.

• Level 4 SCHCADS Award
• Salary range: $88,000 - $94,792 + Superannuation.
• Full-time, Government funded opportunity until 31 December 2027

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a regular caseload, ensure accurate documentation, and provide timely, high‑quality reports while adhering to all organisational policies and procedures.
• Participate actively in case reviews and work collaboratively with colleagues, government agencies, and community service providers to support strong client outcomes.
• Build and uphold professional, confidential, and values‑aligned relationships with clients, staff, and external partners, ensuring ethical and client‑focused practice.
• Continue developing professional skills, follow operational requirements, and carry out reasonable tasks requested by management to support effective service delivery.

About You

• A tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (allied health, social work, human services).
• Professional registration (if required).
• Membership of a relevant professional association (desirable).

Other Requirements

• Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Legal ability to work in Australia (proof of eligibility required).
