About the Position
We are seeking an experienced and values‑driven Clinical Service Manager to provide leadership within our Integrated Therapy Service in Melbourne. This pivotal role will lead and support a team of skilled therapeutic professionals, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, trauma‑informed care to children, young people, and their families. The position holds responsibility for cultivating strong partnerships with government, community, and corporate stakeholders, while contributing to the growth and sustainability of the Melbourne service through the implementation of cost‑recovery business models and strategic collaborations. In doing so, the role plays a critical part in advancing our mission to ensure every child has the opportunity to heal from trauma and thrive.

- Salary range: $119,094 - $124,074 + Superannuation.
- Full-time, permanent opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and embed clinical excellence by providing strong operational and practice leadership to a multidisciplinary team, fostering a high‑performance culture through supervision, performance development, clinical governance, and the delivery of high‑quality, trauma‑informed outcomes for children and families.
- Oversee and manage service delivery by taking accountability for referrals, intake processes, waitlist management, therapist allocation, reporting, compliance with NDIS service requirements, and the maintenance of accurate client data in line with organisational policies and audit expectations.
- Demonstrate advanced clinical capability through the management of a small, complex caseload of children impacted by trauma, while maintaining professional registration, engaging in ongoing supervision and development, and modelling best‑practice standards across the team.
- Drive strategic growth and external partnerships by building and sustaining relationships with community, corporate, and government stakeholders, collaborating with Strategic Growth & Development teams to implement cost‑recovery models, and strengthening the organisation’s profile to increase referrals and long‑term service sustainability.

About You
- Hold tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, speech pathology, or occupational therapy.
- Maintain current professional registration or membership with the relevant governing body (AHPRA National Board, Speech Pathology Australia, or the Australian Association of Social Workers), as applicable.
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience in a comparable service delivery or clinical management role, with the ability to build, lead, and sustain a high‑performing, values‑aligned team.
- Extensive trauma‑informed clinical experience, including a minimum of three (3) years working with children, young people, and families impacted by trauma, abuse, or neglect (or equivalent experience in similar roles).
- Proven strategic capability, including experience planning and delivering initiatives under a strategic framework and building effective stakeholder relationships to support service growth and impact.
- Strong operational and professional skills, encompassing time and caseload management, clear communication, sound clinical judgement, and a contemporary understanding of trauma practice and child protection systems.
