Who is the ACF?

When it comes to our environment, the Australian Conservation Foundation has been leading the way in protecting our living world for over half a century.

We are the national environment organisation committed to caring for Australia’s unique and beautiful wildlife and natural world. We’re inclusive, non-partisan and funded by the Australian community.

Whether it’s advocating for the Great Barrier Reef, koalas snoozing in big old trees or for strong climate action, our dedicated community of more than half a million people are constantly working to create a world where forests, rivers, people, and wildlife thrive.

What’s the gig?

The Senior Digital Campaigner develops and implements engagement strategies to meet promising new audiences where they are and activate people to help deliver ACF’s campaign goals to create a growing and thriving movement of supporters for nature and climate. These activations can include digital advocacy campaigns, innovative web tools and resources, rapid response, creative offline tactics, and engaging content. They play a leading role in building ACF’s communications capabilities, harness the power of our marketing stack and improve the overall supporter experience of ACF’s website and email program.

The Senior Digital Campaigner reports to the Head of Digital Activation and will work closely with other members of the Engagement directorate, Fundraising staff, and the Data and Digital Infrastructure team.

About you!

You’re a strategic digital thinker and campaigner with a proven ability to activate people power. You know how to turn complex issues into compelling narratives, and move people from passive readers to active changemakers.

You’ve led digital advocacy campaigns that shift mindsets, build pressure, and grow movements — from rapid response to long-term engagement journeys. You’re just as comfortable optimising a campaign landing page or A/B testing an email subject line as you are brainstorming bold new tactics with a cross-functional team.

You understand the value of data-informed decision-making and know how to make the most of CRMs, analytics, automation tools and web platforms to strengthen supporter journeys and improve performance.

You’re collaborative, purpose-driven, and passionate about climate and nature justice. You believe in inclusive organising, and you know movements are stronger when everyone is heard, seen, and empowered to lead.
