About the role 

Are you a natural organiser with a passion for delivering impactful events? Join our dynamic team as a STEM Programs Events Coordinator and help us craft career enhancing experiences through engaging, seamless, and strategically aligned events, workshops and other activities.

In this exciting part time role, you’ll work closely with the STEM Careers team using their data driven insights to deliver a diverse calendar of virtual and in-person events. From concept to execution, your work will help elevate our STEM Career programs, boost engagement, and ensure every event is meaningful, inclusive, and financially sustainable.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Co-create and coordinate a cohesive annual program of events aligned with organisational goals.
  • Deliver smooth, professional events that leave a lasting impression—both online and in-person.
  • Collaborate with Communications Team to amplify visibility and participation through event promotion.
  • Respond to stakeholder and participant needs with professionalism and care.
  • Use data and feedback to analyse event success and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement and event protocols, managing logistics and tech needs.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture.

  • Values teamwork and demonstrates a strong collaborative approach to support program participants, colleagues and diverse stakeholders.

Desirable:

  • Relevant tertiary studies or equivalent workplace experience
