Where do all of the wonderful donations of baby essentials go?

A fast paced, relationship focused role based in Clayton. Coordinating the requests for support, you will ensure a timely solution with all of the fabulous material aid donations so carefully curated by your colleagues.

Who needs a Mary Poppins never-ending bag of tricks when you can collate and rehome the bundles of essentials at St Kilda Mums Inc. instead?

As a keen listener, team player with a solution focused mindset you will be the face of the organisation to all of the agencies, maternal child health nurses and social workers who are seeking support for Victorian families.

A keen eye for processes and proven ability to be able to prioritise tasks will serve you well.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders
  • Inventory management of goods ready to be distributed
  • Delivering all aspects of the day to day running of the distribution and donations networks.
  • Training and supervising volunteers, in all aspects of picking, packing and distributing goods and in relevant aspects of our distribution and donations networks
  • Delivering our waste reduction policies and targets

This position also has a hands-on, manual handling component that requires the coordinator to work with and alongside other employees and volunteers on the warehouse floor.

St Kilda Mums, Geelong Mums and Eureka Mums (St Kilda Mums Inc.) collect, sort and redistribute essential nursery equipment, clothing, books and toys for babies and school age children in response to requests from a statewide network of social workers and Maternal & Child Health Nurses.
