We are searching for an innovative and agile leader who can manage change and help implement our exciting new future for Ruah. The General Manager plays a pivotal role in developing and sustaining Ruah’s Family Domestic Violence and Housing and Homelessness portfolios. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with service leads to drive our mission and values.
RUAH is undertaking significant change across our service delivery areas of Family and Domestic Violence and Housing and Homelessness.
Through our Model of Care, we have designed our services to ensure that our work is more focussed on engagement with our clients. We have created a structure that delivers sustainable outcomes through a streamlined and empowered model of accountability. This position is a newly created role as part of this implementation.
This new General Manager position is a key senior management role responsible for demonstrating business excellence in the effective delivery of services to clients through our Model of Care.
This is a permanent full time position based in the Perth Metro area with a requirement to visit different Ruah office locations.
As General Manager you will deliver leadership across a team of professional health care and community delivery staff. You will also advocate on behalf of clients served by your team within senior and executive management decision making forums. In this regard, you will play a significant role in shaping the strategic focus of the organisation.
Your role as General Manager requires high level coaching and mentoring of your direct reports to ensure agreed outcomes and performance indicators are achieved within the resources available.
To be successful in this role you will be expected to apply your personal drive, professional experience and exemplary conduct to resolving complex problems that impact on both short term success and long term performance achievement for your team.

The General Manager is critical in leading:
We are seeking an expert in the field of Family and Domestic Violence & Housing and Homelessness to achieve operational goals. This includes relevant experience to support strategic direction in these areas. The ideal candidate will understand intersecting socio-economic and current issues relating to FDV and H&H in Australia and internationally. Training in the FDV/H&H space will be highly regarded. This role would suit a candidate with extensive work experience in FDV and H&H.
