Our hospitals and emergency departments are located at Frankston and Rosebud, and we provide a wide range of community health, dental, rehabilitation, mental health, palliative care ad aged care services from campuses at Frankston, Hastings, Mornington and Rosebud.

Position Summary

Peninsula Health is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to provide expert consultancy advice and support to Managers and staff on all aspects of the Human Resources function, with a particular focus on employee relations. The Employee Relations Advisor will be responsible for ensuring that advice, processes and tools align with Peninsula Health policies, industrial obligations and best practice HR management. In addition, the Employee Relations Advisor will be responsible for implementation of strategic and operational priorities to assist the organisation in the management and engagement of our workforce. Flexible Work Arrangements and working from home options available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert generalist HR/ER advice and support to Peninsula Health’s managers and staff
  • Manage a wide range of performance management and employee relations cases
  • Partner with stakeholders to successfully deliver key HR projects and initiatives, including the implementation of Enterprise Agreements
  • Consult with stakeholders on strategic and operational needs to assist in the management and engagement of our workforce

Essential Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Hold, or working towards, tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment law and application of Enterprise Agreements
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service and stakeholder engagement
