• Full-time role 38 hours per week
• Monday to Friday in-office role
• $80,000 per annum ($1538.46 per week; $40.49 per hour)

About APACEWA

Based in North Fremantle APACEWA is a community-based not for profit organisation focused on local sustainable development, caring for our environment, caring for people and restoring vegetation and ecosystems.

APACEWA operates a nursery, using both paid and volunteer workforce as well as re-vegetation contract services, seed collection, training, other sustainable environmental projects and a community garden.

About the Role

The organisation is at a point of change and is looking for an inspiring and competent person to lead APACEWA into the future ensuring its relevance, vision, direction, sound organisational framework and long-term financial sustainability.

This role will work closely with the Management Committee and provide leadership to a team of skilled and passionate employees and volunteers to achieve business and social goals and secure long-term sustainability.

Our Ideal Candidate

Ideally the successful candidate will have relevant qualifications and have a good understanding of Governance and Compliance in a not for profit sector context, gained through Secretariat or Board membership experience or holding a management position which reported to a Board or Committee.

Additionally you would have a successful track record of team engagement and financial management and industry knowledge relating to both the Nursery Sector and the Community Sector.
