We are currently recruiting for a Senior Operations Manager to join our Growing Early Minds Team, located in Blacktown, on a Maternity Leave Contract.

This role is 5 days per week, 7.6 hours per day. Commencing ASAP.

Growing Early Minds

The Growing Early Minds (GEM) team is a professional Allied Health and Early Intervention team. The GEM service provides allied health, Early Childhood Early Intervention and Disability Support services for children and young people ages 0-16 years.

Role Overview

The GEM Senior Operations Manager (SOM) is directly responsible for all operational elements of the Growing Early Minds business division. The SOM also works across all service streams in the Division building relationships in existing and potential growth areas. The position focuses on the implementation and support of the current operational system to support the GEM business division. In consultation with the EGM Allied Health and Community Support, the SOM is also responsible for identifying business opportunities and efficiencies, with a view to the creation of effective pipelines of business, based on an accumulation of market knowledge from exisiting business, as well as opportunities either identified or created in current or potential areas of operation.

Mandatory Criteria

• A current Working with Children Check Number (for paid work)
• NDIS Workers Screener
• First Aid Certificate
• CPR Certificate
• Completion Certificate for NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Minimum five years industry experience in a similar or related position.
• Extensive knowledge of the operating environment of the National Disability Insurance Scheme
• High level written and oral communication skills.

Essential Criteria

• Demonstrated experience in managing a team within the NDIS space
• Extensive knowledge of operating reality of the Allied Health sector
• Extensive experience in the maintenance of statutorily compliant quality management systems.

Desirable Criteria

• Tertiary qualifications in Education, Disability or other Human Services or related field
• Demonstrated experience in the identification achievement of business development priorities and opportunities.
• Previous experience managing an Allied Health team
