Fighting Chance are on the lookout for an experienced and passionate Office Manager. The Office Manager is to provide high quality support services to Fighting Chance head office, and its associated enterprises. You will take the lead on office management, providing excellent customer service as well as coordinate property and assets for all enterprises. Further, you will closely supervise the Office Assistants through our Supported Employment Program.
This is a full-time role based in our office in Frenchs Forest.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Your main responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Manage and support Office Assistants who have been recruited through the Fighting Chance Supported Employment Program by assisting them with employment goals, support needs, providing them with coaching and mentoring with a focus on capacity building
- Provide daily support and troubleshooting, assistance with task breakdown, management of workload and prioritisation.
- Liaise with other areas of the business to ensure their needs are being met on time and to a high standard.
- Oversee the management of the Fighting Chance head office, stationary, all office supplies and consumables.
- Ensure enterprises / hubs are well stocked with centrally managed equipment and/or collateral including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), up to date marketing collateral etc.
- Provide high quality customer service through ownership of the Fighting Chance group’s response to initial enquiries across all platforms and channels including phone, email, reception desk, webforms, and social media.
- From time to time, provide input and support to customer service process improvement projects and maintain all customer service documentation on the Shared Drive including phone and email templates and scripts, customer service handbook
- Coordinate operational and maintenance requirements in relation to all facilities and associated support services e.g. Waste management, Security, utilities, cleaning, car parking etc.
- Signage
- Assist in developing and maintaining business support systems to manage any planned, preventative and reactive maintenance/repair requirements.
- Ensure any works are carried out within agreed timeframes, budgets and according to priorities.
- Assist finance to develop annual repairs and maintenance budget
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- A relevant qualification and/or proven experience in a similar office management role.
- Team leadership or supervision experience (essential) working with people with disability or other vulnerable cohorts, or lived experience of disability (strongly desired)
- Experience working with cloud-based CRMs, other business systems such as Google Workspace and/or online call centre/phone programs (desirable)
- Warm interpersonal style with excellent listening skills and high empathy
- Ability to build relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Capable of retaining information-dense product knowledge
- High bandwidth for multi-tasking
- Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Outstanding organisational skills and ability to work in a highly dynamic environment with competing priorities.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Possess or be willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check and a Working with Children Check.
