The Sunrise approach involves community people taking part in controlling their own health. Everything from financial management and governance, staff selection and service delivery priorities are directed by the organisation's Aboriginal Board and Community Health Committees.
Sunrise Health Service Aboriginal Corporation has a rewarding opportunity for a Maternal Early Childhood Sustained Home-Visiting Program Social Care Worker to join their dedicated team. This position is based in Wulgularr but will provide services to nine communities. This is a contract based position ending in July 2022.
The primary purpose of this role is to provide support, advice and education to the nurses providing the MESCH program. This includes providing culturally safe psychosocial support for the families enrolled in the program.
This is an incredible opportunity to work closely with, and build the capacity of, a remote Aboriginal community in order to improve their health and wellbeing.
Your dedication will be rewarded with a highly attractive base salary circa $90,369 - $101,025 (based on skills and experience) plus super.
