About the Role

Under the general direction of the CEO, you will develop, implement, and ensure ConnectAbility's operations and business transitions follow all relevant legislative regulations, contractual requirements, compliance obligations and internal policies and procedures.

This is an exceptional career opportunity for a Compliance Manager to have an influential role in partnering with our executive and senior leaders to maintain a high standard of compliance within the organisation.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the implementation of an ongoing quality monitoring and continuous improvement system by providing insights, in-depth analysis, and informed guidance to develop a strategic approach to managing risk, quality, and compliance across the organisation and associated systems.
  • Coordinate the compliance of ConnectAbility's Quality Management System with relevant standards during audits or Third-Party Verification (TPV).
  • Manage all internal audits, reports, and action requests to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Provide essential information, resources, and advice to support the CEO and other members of the management team in fulfilling their responsibilities in line with the organisation's constitution and legislative compliance.
  • Act as a representative of ConnectAbility at various external and internal forums and meetings to stay updated on human resources practices, legislation, and relevant information.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, trust, and cooperation within the organisation.

To succeed you need:

  • Applicable qualifications or experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked in the Aged Care or Community Services sector.
  • A passion for compliance and quality.
  • Understanding of modern quality management practices.
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Effective stakeholder management abilities.
  • Resource management expertise in regulated environments.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in Disabilities (NDIS) and Aged Care industries.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Data analysis and reporting skills.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check clearance.
