Campaign Support Director

Climate 200

About Climate 200

Climate 200 is a mission-driven, not-for-profit organisation that supports community-selected independent candidates committed to climate, integrity, and gender equality in Australian elections. Our work is fast-paced, highly scrutinised, and deeply impactful. By strengthening democratic integrity and accelerating climate action, we help communities amplify their voice and achieve better representation, and better decision-making for Australia’s future.

The Role

Climate 200 is seeking a Campaign Support Director to provide practical, strategic and sophisticated support that helps community independent candidates and campaigns compete and win.

As Campaign Support Director you will join Climate 200's senior management team. You will play a crucial role in leading the busy team responsible for developing relationships, support systems, processes and resources that enable supported community candidates and campaigns to succeed at election time.

Why you will love this opportunity

Climate 200 helps level the playing field for independent community campaigns committed to science-based climate action, restoring integrity to politics, and gender equity. Climate 200 supported the winning elections of 11 community independents in 2022, putting climate and integrity front and centre in those campaigns.

In the 2025 federal election, Climate 200 supported 35 campaigns nationally. 8 of these campaigns elected or re-elected community independents to parliament, with another 10 electorates pushed into marginal territory.

If you’re purpose-driven, want climate action and a democracy that makes lives better, this is an incredible opportunity to use your skills to make a profound difference to Australia’s future.

This role's is location flexible - however, we have offices in Sydney, Melbourne and the Gold Coast for hybrid or office-based work.
