Beyond Zero Emissions is an award-winning Australian NGO and climate solutions think-tank.

BZE’s goal is to transform Australia from a 19th century fossil fuel based economy to a 21st century renewable powered clean tech economy.

BZE’s Zero Carbon Australia (ZCA) project is developing detailed plans for each sector of the Australian economy - from buildings to exports, land use, electricity, transport and industrial processes - to move to zero emissions on a 10 year timeline.

BZE is now partnering with communities to implement this ambitious project at the local level.

Through our Zero Carbon Communities project we are working with high-ambition local government areas and communities across Australia which are aiming to reduce emissions rapidly.

Through this collaboration the ZCC project will develop technical and governance blueprints that all communities can use to implement effective local 10-year zero emission strategies.
