ABOUT THE ROLE

New Year, New Job!

Are you passionate about digital marketing and using your skills to make a tangible difference? We'd love for you to join our Marketing Team! Baptist World Aid is looking for an excellent communicator with high attention to detail and a love for all things digital. You'll help manage Baptist World Aid's social media channels, update our websites, and execute digital fundraising campaigns. This role is full of variety and purpose—could it be for you?

This role is a 12-month parental leave cover and sits within the Marketing Team reporting to the Digital Marketing Lead. And you’ll be supported by a highly talented team working together towards a better world for all.

You’ll contribute to digital marketing initiatives, including campaign execution across Google Ads, Meta and LinkedIn, as well as SEO/AIO optimisation and performance reporting. This looks like:

  • Involvement in large-scale annual fundraising and advocacy campaigns
  • Social media management (paid and organic) and community engagement
  • SEO, AIO and website conversion optimisation
  • Ongoing reporting and analysis using Google Analytics, Creator Studio and relevant tools
  • Updates to website using WordPress.

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Creative ideas on how to tell the story of Baptist World Aid to new audiences online
  • A shared commitment to Baptist World Aid’s mission
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing with a passion for driving engagement and results
  • Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong analytical abilities
  • The ability to work collaboratively and to deadlines A proactive and curious attitude, always looking to learn and improve
  • Creative copywriting and storytelling skills
  • Expertise in managing social media platforms and other digital channels, ensuring the delivery of engaging, timely content and maintaining brand consistency
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and/or Canva and familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite, plus solid Microsoft Office skills
  • A working knowledge of WordPress
  • Relevant qualifications in Business, Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Public Relations
  • Genuine interest in International Development and Advocacy.
