The opportunity

The Driver and Forklift Operator is responsible for day-to-day stock movements within the Distribution Centre as well as the delivery and pickup of inventory from local stores, donations depots and partners. You will also provide additional support such as stock receipt, dispatch, pallet control and waste control amongst other adhoc related duties.

What you will bring

• A current unrestricted driver’s licence and forklift licence are mandatory requirements for this position
• The proven ability to confidently and safely operate both a high reach forklift and a counterbalance forklift
• Experience driving various vehicles to deliver and collect product around Melbourne
• Extensive pick/pack/sorting and manual handling experience
• Recent experience in loading/unloading trucks and vans
• Proven capacity to organise and maintain a put-away inventory storage system and knowledge/experience in pallet/stillage control
• Proven capacity to organise and maintain waste and recycling disciplines

This role is covered by the Storage Services and Wholesale Award - Level 2. $26.19560 per hour + superannuation + salary packaging.
