Achieve Australia has been providing services to people with disability since the 1950s. Today, we are a registered NDIS provider offering accommodation, community participation, supported employment and support coordination services in Greater Sydney and in Northern Rivers regions in NSW.

About the role

  • The quality Champion role is to help elevate the voices of people with disability who receive services from Achieve Australia.
  • There is no prior work experience required for this role.
  • Quality Champions will be interested and motivated to have peer-to-peer conversations with people with disability and be open to different communication styles.
  • Quality Champions will need to take notes on Microsoft suite applications and summarise their findings.
  • Quality Champions will work closely with their Quality Champion partner and will have peer-to-peer conversations with other people with disability (our clients).
  • Quality Champions will write down their findings based on conversations about the quality of support services that Achieve Australia provides to our clients.
  • This feedback will be made into actionable insights and recommendations to improve service quality over time.
  • Quality Champions will have a follow-up conversation to ask about any changes or improvements that were made.

Meet minimum requirements

  • Not a current or previous recipient of Achieve Australia services or affiliated to Achieve Australia.
  • This is an identified position that has been created for people with a disability. This must be identified as a disability through the NDIS.
  • Current pre-employment clearances - Working with Children Check, Criminal Background Check and NDIS Worker Check.
  • 18 years of age (or over).
  • Access to personal email and mobile phone.
  • Ability to travel independently.
  • Motivation and interest in conducting quality assessments.
  • Adaptive communication style.
  • Ability to take notes on Microsoft suite applications.
