National Health Promotion Manager

Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation

Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation (ACCF) is a growing not for profit organisation with a mission to protect and enhance women’s health by eliminating cervical cancer. As the only dedicated cervical cancer charity in Australia, we have a responsibility to provide awareness, education and support to the Australian people and beyond. Through our successful programs and services, partnerships, and campaigns, we empower women and their communities to take control of their health and wellbeing.

About the Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated National Health Promotion Manager (NHPM) to join our team. The NHPM will provide management, leadership and strategic direction for the Health Promotion Unit, overseeing a team of State Coordinators, Support Program Officer and Volunteer Awareness Presenters.

The key focus of this position will be to lead the development, delivery and operational requirements of ACCF’s evidence-based education programs in schools, workplace and community groups, as well as manage the CerviCAN Support Program for women diagnosed with cervical cancer and cervical abnormalities. While this is a national role, the NHPM will be required to manage and facilitate the education programs in South-east Queensland.

The role will also be responsible for building and fostering meaningful relationships with relevant industry and community partners to ensure the work of ACCF’s programs establish the organisation as a leader in women’s health, and towards the goal of eliminating cervical cancer in Australia.

In order to deliver on our mission ACCF encourages a collaborative and supportive environment and we are looking for people with a willingness to step in and assist other team members when required. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a passionate and dynamic women’s charity and to make a tangible difference in the Australian community.
