The Senior Manager - Community Conservation Campaigns is located within Zoos Victoria's Wildlife Conservation and Science team, which sets and drives the organisation's conservation strategies. The key focus of Zoos Victoria's community conservation programs (conservation driven through the community), and therefore the primary objective for conservation campaigns, is to influence pro-wildlife attitudes, understanding and behaviours that alleviate human threats to wildlife
This position plays a lead role in designing, facilitating and monitoring the impact of community conservation campaigns across Zoos Victoria using best practice social science to influence attitudes, knowledge and behaviours. Through influencing and empowering others, this position takes the lead in building social movements that can create a future rich in wildlife.
