YDA is seeking expressions of interest for the role of Treasurer (voluntary)
Youth Development Australia Ltd (YDA) was created in 2005 as a platform for change and as a way of exploring, developing and implementing innovative youth development initiatives. YDA has a foundational commitment to disadvantaged young Australians. The participation of young people in the building of their future is a core value. Exercising independence, YDA seeks to be a ‘platform for change’ and a vehicle that young people can use to realise their ambitions and meet their needs in the 21st Century world to come.

The Treasurer:
It is desirable that the Treasurer is a practicing CPA or CA and has experience in accounting and financial management in the non-for-profit sector.
Meetings are held via zoom and occasionally in-person at our office in Brunswick, Victoria. Meetings are held on the ground floor to ensure accessibility.
This is a governance and oversight role and does not include day-to-day financial operations.
