We are excited to deliver a pilot program to address a critical gap in mental health service provision for children under 12 years in the Bayside and Redlands corridor. This 12 month pilot program seeks to fill this gap by delivering accessible, therapeutic mental health support for children under 12, with a strong emphasis on early intervention and family involvement.
Based at Capalaba and working with the Family Support Services team, this role has responsibility for providing evidence based, child centred and family focussed psychological therapies for children aged 0-12 years with moderate to severe mental illness.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a reputable service that has a range of programs in the child and family space, and is well connected with the community.
The program is delivered within a stepped care approach and works in an integrated and collaborative manner with wraparound supports. It is provided on site and via outreach.
We are seeking a Registered Psychologist for a 12 month maximum term contract, in line with the pilot program funding. We are ideally looking to appoint on a 0.8FTE basis (can be flexible on days), however may consider someone on a 0.6 FTE basis.
We are seeking a passionate, professional Psychologist who wants to make a difference by delivering a pilot program aiming to improve earlier access and management of mental health concerns, enhance child and family wellbeing and prevent escalation to more complex or intensive service needs.
